GH5 Two camera shoot with GH5

I've got an upcoming corporate project where I might be using 2-3 GH5 setups. Two of them will be shooting video while the third will be shooting high speed 6K photo mode (for capturing a fast event). Is there a way to easily start and stop the two video GH5 setups remotely and simultaneously? This would be from 20-30 feet away from the cameras. Even better, I'd love to do this with all three setups.

Is a network setup possible? Can it be done with extended wired remotes?

Thanks for any feedback on this.

I am not sure how the Panasonic image app would fit in this scenario?

I doubt it's made for multi camera shoots, but perhaps I'll have a look. Really need a genlock setup but that's not something feasible from what I've read.

What about feeding time code into an audio channel to help sync them later. Won't work on the stills, but those won't be synced anyway.

Seems to me a small but consistent delay writing to the card when starting or stopping 6k photo mode, something else to consider for video multicam.

I have not done it but it should be possible to set the timecode in free run and sync to a mobile phone time for all of them. You could then use the app on couple of phones to start the GH5 and at least the timecode will be in sync even if they do not start exactly together. I use the app to run my GH5 and it is great from my Samsung TAB A or phone. There is a Youtube video on how to sync timecode with your phone.

If the cell phones are on the same network, that might actually work out to no delay or only a couple of frames delay in timecode. In theory if they are on the same network, their clocks will be identical, but you know how that goes.

The phone idea is worth a test, sounds like it should work just fine and I'd certainly give it a try if I was needing the same thing. The 6k stills are just not going to sync, you'll need to do that buy hand but I'm betting they are for slow motion and sync won't really be the most important thing past the first frame.

I think the phone sync approach actually sets the camera clock so the time should also be in the meta data for anything the camera shoots ?
