C100: Two C100s, with two different lenses going for same look?

I am getting two C100s for an outdoor shoot so the Fstop will be around 8 or 9. I have the 24-105 and 17-55 2.8 and will be setting the cameras up with the sam profile and settings. Do you guys think the footage will look drastically different enough to purchase the same lens for the other C100?

Might be a super newbie question, but I haven't got the second C100 in yet and wanted to prepare before I go and shoot the videos. I am guessing they will be close enough to not even tell. I am sure it will be way closer than trying to match a whole different camera to the C100.

I am thinking it will look super close and the audience will never know... Am I Crazy?

I wouldn't worry about it. The C100's will be close enough.
I've shown people edits with C100 & T3i footage and they didn't notice the difference (there is a big difference in that case, heh). You won't have a problem

Just goes to show how neurotic some of us get about matching.

Two C100s with identical color pictures and two Canon zooms will match as closely as is possible.

I match my C100 to my Sony RX10 all the time and with the right profiles they match right out of the box. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be close. I think that the only way you will be able to tell the difference between the 24-105 footage and the 17-55 footage is by zoom range (and the 24-105 losing a stop on zoom) and even then you'll have to look really closely to see which is which.

Yep I think you guys are right.... I will try and calm down the OCD here and just shoot with that. I am sure it will be so close no one will know... :) thanks for the advice.
