TV needs 50i?

Hi,

If I want my 25p material to be on TV, do I have to make it as 50i ?
Can TV's broadcast straight 25p material? (If I just render it as progressive in Vegas?)

Is there any big quality loss when making 25p->50i?
 
Just make it 25p.

Any device that outputs a video signal for your TV (such as the DVX, or a DVD player) will output the signal as 50i for the TV - As your footage is originally 25p, it will be identical. It will be 25p, but drawn with interlaced fields.
