Got my TV Logic today...it's AWESOME.
One of the major things that tipped the scales for me over another monitor (but not he single issue) was that it allowed you to overlay aspect markers on the screen and set opacity for the matte like the RED LCD. That's incredible helpful when shooting in an aspect like 2.35. No more gaffer tape on an expensive monitor
Until I figure out a powering solution for the entirety of my kit, I have the AA bracket on the monitor which powers it for a few hours per set of 6. Not a bad deal all things considered. Also I got the Hoodman that's made for the RED LCD and it works perfectly. The only pain I see here so far is how the HDMI cable sticking out the bottom of the LCD is making it a bit of a pain to move my Noga Arm around at times, and also the on/off switch and main menu buttons on the back are covered by the Hoodman elastic straps. I can still hit them without having to go under the straps but it makes their accessibility more difficult than it should be, especially so so much empty room for these buttons on the sides of the monitor.
