The cable part number is K2CB2CB00032 and plugs into the adaptor which delivers DC voltage to the camera.

Generally, it's best to record from battery power.
Under certain power failure conditions, you could lose data or render your SD cards unreadable. If you must run off the power grid, consider an APC continuous power supply - it will start to beep if, as and when there is a loss of power and give you a few minutes to effect an orderly shutdown of your camera.
Thank you very much, kwkierstead.
I'm trying to help a friend with his AC90 and its' missing parts and we can't do the firmware update without AC power
mrveronn, thank you for the link! And kwkeirstead, thank you for the number!
My friend let someone use the camera and he lost some of the parts now I'm trying to help him find those parts.
I'm a little confused. The link looks like the cable that goes from the wall outlet to the AC adapter. What does the cable look like that goes from the adapter to the camera? The diagram in the online user manual makes it look like a simple cable that goes between them but the ac adapter in the diagram doesn't look like the real thing plus I see no power plug hole in the ac adapter. The only connection holes I see on the adapter iis where the battery connects and where the power cable that goes to the wall connects. So the other cable must connect with an end that slides into the battery charge slot on the adapter and into the DC IN hole on the camera.
It's funny because I used to have 4 cameras that used these type batteries and chargers but I sold them all and now I can't remember when my friend needs help!
I think there are two types of adaptor - the ones that let you either charge the battery (one cord from the power source to the adaptyor) then ones that alow you to either charge the battery or let you power the camera from the power source (the latter have two cords). My AG-AC160A has the latter.
Based on the diagrams of the AG AC90, we see a small round pin that plugs into the camera so things could be quite different. (one cable from power source to adaptor then a fixed cable going to the camera with no option of being able to charge a battery) one of various other possible arrangements.
Only someone who has an AC90 or a supplier is likely to be able to say what is needed
I have so many accessories that I bought a tool chest on wheels and I am in the process of putting everything into numbered ziplock or cloth bags. This will hopefully make it easier to find things and discover if anything is missing.
I can't think of any procedure other than having a numbered list/descriptions, emptying the tool chest at the end of each event and then as you put things back, crossing off line items on your list.
The DC input connection is very simple for the AC90, contrary to the special plug-in for the AC160A for example, where you have to plug in a special fitting in the battery compartment.
kwkeirstead,
Thank you very much for the diagram. The problem is that my AC90 AC adapter (DE A88B) doesn't have the cable that goes from the adapter to the camera. It only has the AC wall outlet cable. There is no other cable coming out of it. It appears to be like the style adapter that requires a slide in cable. Did they change the design on the AC90 early in production perhaps?
