Trouble with Final Cut Pro 6 and my P2 Card

I can't seem to get this to work at all! At my work we have another computer with FCP5 that has the option to use File>Import>Panasonic P2. This FCP6 computer I'm using right now doesn't have that option and I am pretty sure it should. Please help me!!
