Trouble getting to first base with PTool v3.40d

Newbie.

After preparing the Ptools Bin file, instructions say to put the file in the root directory of the SD card. This is what my SD card directory looks like after formatting a new Sandisk Extreme class 10 card in a new GH1. Where should I place the file?

You are looking at the right place mate. Just stick the bin next to those folders you see (not inside them.)

Loaded the bin file, now what is the clearest way to indicated it has worked? Body firmware version says 0.0?
