Trouble capturing 60i footage with A1

Im having trouble capturing the footage in Final Cut Pro. I set it on the HDV preset: 1080i60. It captures my footage but it registers it as 29.97fps not 59.94fps. I need a little help here and could use some learning!

P.S: I captured my 24f footage.....wow it looks beautiful! I'm glad i purchased this camera!

Its my first time messing around with 60i footage by the way! please shed me some grace! but tell it to me straight!

60i is 29.97. It's two interlaced field per frame, making it 29.97 fps.
