I'm sorry if these questions have been asked before but:

Will red be able to attach onto tripods, add a matte box ect? Have outputs for mics?

No, Red will not work with any tripods or matteboxes. It's up to you to be really, really still while shading the camera from flares with your other hand. :)

Hehe, just kidding. Yes, of course Red will be able to connect to tripods. I believe the Cage One already has rail support, but even if you aren't getting a cage you can buy a standard baseplate (ala Zacuto, Chrosziel, Redrock, etc.) and attach your own rails and mattebox. They are also being very open to accepting third party add-ons and solutions, and I think that in time we will start to see quite a few of those developed for this camera.

The camera also has two XLR inputs built-in (according to their latest released renders of the body). I'm not sure what you mean by mic outputs (using the camera as a passthrough device?), but I'm guessing you meant inputs instead. Red will have connections for all kinds of things - I think they're keeping things very open, compatible, and user-friendly.

Rare, I know, but then Red is not your common camera company in any sense of the word!
