Libec is best value for money of any brand. Much better to buy quality tripod instead of chinese junks that some people boughted here. Chinese junks tripod will end upin traschcan lol! Good tripod like libec or vinten or sexler will last you long time and you could sold it for good price later. Nobody want chines junks tripod because sucks and you have shakey pans and lousy tilt! Lol.
 
I beg to differ.
Ephoto are as good as manfroto. Personally I do not see any difference in their quality.
As far as I know they are Korean.
The head is labeled wf-717a

For the price of $149 for a tripod and $75 for the head you can not go wrong with EPHOTO
 
I got the Manfrotto 501HDV head with 547BK tripod. The head is great; the tripod is crap. Shaky, useless spreader with two-stage sticks.
 
I also have the Manfrotto 503HDV head and don't like it very much. A lot of spring back on pans. So, I am also looking for a new head to replace this one.

But, that being said, I am EXTREMELY happy with my Manfrotto 535 legs! They are light, stiff, and a lot cheaper than the Miller legs. So, don't know the answer for a better head, but the 535 legs are really good for the money:

Old topic, but still:
use GH2 with a Dörr Pro Black 1 tripod.
Under eur 100.
Lots of options to manipulate the dimensions etc.
Partly aluminum, not just plastic.
Includes bubble level in 2 places.
Great buy for an amateur like myself.
