i wanted to purchase a Sacthler DV-6SB with a Miller carbon fibre SOLO DV tripod to go with my HPX170 and 35mm adaptor setup. I was talking to the dealer, and realized that the DV-6SB is no longer in production. Replacing it is the FSB 6 Model or the FSB 8 Model(still 75mm Bowl), according to the dealer. If I go the next step up, it will be the DV 8/100 SB (100mm Bowl) with another 100mm sticks.
Anyone has used the Satchtler FSB 6/8 head with the HPX170 + 35mm adaptor? Or is it worth the extra cash to make the upgrade... which is rather pricy for me.
any thoughts will be helpful thanks.
