The last shot with the lady looks pretty much... hollywood. good work. 24P or 24PA?

24PA. I don't see much reason to shoot 24p. Me and interlacing have a 100 foot restraining order.

they both look great!
i loved the cinematography!
i loved the trailer too, very well done, can't believe it was shot all on the dvx.

Wow, thanks for the rating, all! :)

And watch for one of the Triage actors in my entry for the ZombieFest, which will hopefully be online soon!

Oh crap. I just made the connection. I saw triage when this was posted a few weeks ago, but didn't realize you'd be entering the zombiefest too :( lol

Hey Curugon, just watched Triage. I liked it ALOT, but think that some of your other work is defenitly much better (hard to tell on a 2min clip though). The only part of the short that I felt was a little off was all the dirt the main actors had on them once they reached the "Triage" (maybe just a tiny to dirty for the run across the road). All in All your work is amazming!

Oh yea and good choice on music. Heat has got to have one of the best gun battle scenes in any movie!

yea that was amazing stuff. I'm definately trying to teach myself better techniques so i can reach that level with the dvx. Yea all was cool but it was kinda funny how the dude got hit with shrapnel from a bank robbery...those robbers were definately decked out with the military artillary!

My question also. Was that a steadicam and driver or did you rent the rig...or was it a handheld Steady Tracker? Good stuff

In the parking garage, and the above-ground run, that's me sitting in the backseat of my friend's convertible, DVX on my shoulder. There's a few shots with the camera on a Flowpod, which by the way, I wholeheartedly recommend.

As an aside, never film too long in an underground garage - the buildup of exhaust may cause your actors to pass out!

Thanks for the comments!
