Trampoline + Girlfriend

The film burns and effects he has are from artbeats.com

Honestly Matt, I'd take down that link if I was you (just the film flash one)... just for copyright reasons. Not like I mind much, but I'll bet the people from artbeats would, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they lurked around this site. Just a heads up my friend.

Depends on what you mean by "native." No, it doesn't have 16:9 chips. But the squeeze mode records as 16:9 on tape, so the footage itself is "native" 16:9 -- you don't have to do anything in post to make it that way.

THat's what I meant..

I'm watching his footage and I was like "man! his DVX is showing ALOT more resolution than mine when I letterboxed to 16:9.. then I realized he was shooting an "a" model, which is much more suited for 16:9 than my plain' ol' vanilla DVX100.

You'll get a better result with squeeze than with uprezzing 4:3, because if you uprez yourself, you're doing it post-compression.

I wish I knew how to get my footage to look even remotely that good. And I don't mean levels and the burns, or the depth. I just can't get the quality I capture on my DVX to show on my Mac in H.264.
