Training DVD or book suggestions

Hello folks,

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on good DVX100B training DVD's or books. I've been eyeing the Call Box DVD that goes through shooting in 24fps and editing on Final Cut. Does it offer an good overall tutorial of the camera? or specifically the 24p functions? I am interested in shooting short films and cutting on FCP, so I think this would offer a lot, but I won't be shooting in 24p all the time (i.e. weddings, corporate projects, etc.) Anything else that might work better for a newbie? Or work good in addition to the Call Box set?

Thanks!

Thanks. I've heard lots about this book but couldn't find it on Amazon or anything... I guess I should have checked here first!

It is on Amazon, and ebay, but for Canadian customers it's probably a lot more convenient to go to a Panasonic authorized dealer or to dvshop.ca; they all should have the book in stock (which means no lengthy shipping times or import/customs taxes).

I just got the dvd book combo and it has changed the way I look at my dvx. In the right hands it can be a cinematic tool, in the wronng hands it's a prosumer camcorder. I'm still working on my hands.

oh man, I have this book sitting in the draw and never open it. I am kicking myself right now.
Hey do you all have this book on dvd or a dvd that can help me out with the 100a "I hate books" I do better with hands on.

I already have the DVD (very useful) but could use the book - can it be bought seperately? I'd hate to spend $69 on a book 9since I don['t need the DVD - my friend gave it to me when I bought the camera)
