Train stills

Here are some screenshots shot in a train, for a 1-minute film.
I have shot with master pedal low, thanks to Jack Daniel Stanley, and i do think the master pedal is a great tool... its different than just lowering the Iris (what i would normaly do...) I would love to hear some reactions to the stills.

VERY nice & creepy! I can't wait to see the short!

Did you also use a Letus adapter, or some post production CC/magic bullet filter?

Wow, I like.

Deep contrast, rich colors. I like the first shot the most. The last shot is kind of creepy. It looks like he has an enormous forehead with empty eye sockets. :Drogar-Love(DBG):

:) WOW! GREAT! iam truly happy now :)

There is nothing done in post, just captured in premiere and used 'printscreen' to save a still from the timeline... Jack Daniel Stanley tip about the master pedal has done it  (altough, he was talking about stills from my kitchen, the funny thing is: i used lighting for the kitchen, here... is used nothing, run en gun style , but the trail itself has some good lighting )

you will get amore film like image if you dont crush so drastically in camera. leave the detail there and crush a bit in post. but to each his own.

but straight off the bat, your getting rid of alot of information which leaves your crimped in one vision. If this is exactly the look your going for, good stuff, but you can achieve something slightly better if you kept a bit more detail while hsooting and crushed those blacks in post. ive done tests in another thread on this very idea. check it out, its in the HVX section
