I haven't seen that movie. Admittedly, I actually haven't watched a lot of Superhero movies versus a lot of Anime, Video Game, and Saturday Morning Cartoon nostalgia. Hahaha. I will put it on my list to view soon!

NNnaaaah I've watched it at least eighty or so times since I received it upon waking up. Looking at it on a production monitor, when it's not even graded or finished... I just kind of shake my head and laugh.

Definitely a ride.

Ok, yeah, I don't do the effects. I just occasionally 1st AC on those Asylum films. The last one I did, I was A-Camera 1st AC , and it premieres on SyFy May 7th... and yeah, it's some classic b-movie goodness, hahaha. :P


Kholi should do the next Asylum film. :)

Let's be real here: If they let me do what I wanted and gave me 150 - 250K to do it, I would. That means I do what script I want, I cast who I want, shoot how I want, post how I want, etc.

The actual name of the company wouldn't stop me, or what they've done before. In fact, it would motivate me to smash everything they did prior to that.

You should tell them I said that. >=]

Oh, SNAP. I just realized which ASYLUM feature you worked on. ALMIGHTY THOR?

Haha, Cody--the big bad guy with the stone arms in the VFX clip--was Thor in the feature. I forgot you mentioned that you worked on it.

And yes, I tried to watch the vimeo clip on loop by pressing the space bar every few seconds. Why isn't there a loop button? Or at least an animated gif creator button.

Yeah, Cody was the main actor in the Asylum film and he's in yours! lol. Small world. He's a super nice guy. Totally gives his 100% all day- every day.

Will echo that. The guy sprawled out on freezing concrete in a rubber half suit for our finale scene. Just as dedicated as the crew and the rest of the cast, man.

I lucked out, for sure.
 
Kholi, you've probably mentioned this before so please excuse the (potential) redundancy, but who's doing these VFX for you? They're seriously cool looking...
 
Why do you do this to me man.....and I'll say this, everyone is giving the obvious props to the VFX (With good reason)..but for me what makes the shots look cool, at least in these clips...is the way they're shot, the way your actors were directed and move, because when the clips were being filmed obvious there was no fire, force fields or guns appearing outta thin air, but they were filmed to look like they were...long before someone went in and added them..and THAT is why I love these clips...and that's also why I hate you because you're pretty much kicking ass right now!!
