I posted the first scene of this movie a while back, and have since put together a trailer for the whole thing.
www.vgstudio.com/movies/trailer2.mov
I edited it as an "attractive" trailer, as if it were designed to be hooking in a large audience, so it makes the movie look like an action flick, even though it's more of an experimental/comedy type thing (this is reflected in the soundtrack choices; the movie itself uses somber and eccentric music by bands like Radiohead and Sigur-Ros, whereas for the trailer I picked fast-paced drumbeats and techno).
I plan to enter this into the Westport Youth Film Festival next year, so I want a trailer that will get kids at my school and in the surrounding area to go see it.
Basically, what I want to know is, after viewing this trailer, would you want to see the rest of the movie? Any tips on how to make it seem more "attractive" to my fellow teenagers would be appreciated (and no, I won't stoop so low as to put random nudity in the trailer.... I do have some principals, after all... :
).
P.S: Oh yeah, for those who helped me out in the Final Cut Pro forum, thanks. This is the movie I was editing.
