Sorry in advance for the lack of b-roll... we were down one cameraman and on a VERY tight schedule. No tripods allowed on the show floor, so all shots are handheld w/ OIS.

We used the new Comer 1800 on-camera LED light for all interviews and again... I'd recommend this light to ANYONE!

Color is straight from the camera except for some very minor color correction during the Ed Begley Jr. interview. Scene file was the "vivid" preset from the HPX170, tweaked for the HMC150.

Taky... of course!

I need to get my hands on one of the clear diffusers that takes the place of the condenser on the 1800... do you have those in stock still? Maybe I'll make the drive out to Pasadena to say hello and pick one up.
 
the image looks perfect.
but if you can't take a few minutes after an interview to shoot some broll, i suggest keeping the camera on the interview subject and framing the shot so that they are looking across the frame, from one side to the other. i always have my host/interviewer stand right next to me so i'm not shooting profiles. trying to compromise and shoot broll while you're supposed to be shooting the interview just doesn't work, imo.
