Tracking shot question with the HMC150

So I'm using the Panasonic HMC150 to shoot a short ( of someone riding a long board around) and I wanna know the best way to get a tracking shot down...since that'll be the entire short. I have a wheelchair but any other suggestions? I hear the steadicam rigs are ridiculously expensive and to make one yourself for a camera that isn't the size of a camcorder is expensive. I might be wrong about this though, Idk. I definitely have access to a DV shoulder mount and I'm guessing that'll help me out?? Sorry I sound so clueless but in all honesty, I'm a novice at all this camera stuff so forgive me if this question sounds pretty dumb. :) Thanks.

Get a gasoline, preferrably automatic car and dont drive more then 20 miles per hour .

you can sit in this car and try to press the camera gently against the side windshields
or mount it the camera on a cheap fotocamera tripods aka sunpak
or sit back where the luggages are and track sideways.

Now a days I use my Glidecam 4000 HD.
