One of our customers, Keith Maitland, is in the news for his new film Tower about the 1966 sniper shootings at the University of Texas Tower.

Two Canon C100 AF cameras were used.

Go see the film.

Terry-

I watched the trailer for "The Tower".

It looked great.

I was interested in the film because even as a 12 yr old kid in Brooklyn, the event was riveting.

Congrats to your client.

I wish him good reviews and pleased audiences.

Be well.

Just back from seeing this in the theater. Excellent piece of cinema. The art direction, editing, and design principles unify to tell the story from a deeply considered and slowly revealed POV. Remarkable visual storytelling on display. Powerful, cathartic work. Brings to mind John Cage writing that the purpose of visual art is to sober and quiet the mind. Great stuff.

Thanks for the heads up. There was a really positive review of Tower on NPR's Fresh Air today.

Text and audio (and listen to the 8-min audio; it flows better imo):
