Total hours used?

Is there a way to check the total # of hours that the HVX200 has been used? Both for P2 usage and for miniDV tape usage and combined?
 
If you have an older hvx you need to upgrade the firmware to have an hour meter...

I wish I never would have because it starts counting the hours when the camera is turned on and not when it is recording...
