too much noise on my canon 7D

Hi! i have been the proud owner of a canon 7D for about 16 months and i have been using it mostly on video mode for some personal projects as i usually work with the 5D on gigs and only use my 7D as a secondary camera to shoot 60 fps and conform in cinema tools.
It was not until a few months ago while shooting a short film with a friend that i noticed an awful lot of noise in midtone areas, i used a 50 mm nikon lens with KAWA nikon to EOS adaptor for this scene set at 1.8 and ISO 640.

I have already compared it with my friends 7D and T2i and mine's is definitely noisier, is there a timeline when my sensor is supposed to go bad? note that i have used philip bloom's preset since i bought it. with the exception of the Highlight tone priority, and i always stick to the 160 multiples ISO's, the last thing i did was to reset the camera and clear all settings and set it up with your preset from scratch without any improvement i have shot some footage for you to see, i hope you can shed some light here because honestly i think 16 months for a sensor is way too short of a lifespan.

Also i downloaded and installed the tchnicolor cinestyle and honestly i removed it because the amount of noise was overwhelming here are the settings i am currently using:
Sharpeness: 0
Contrast: -4
Saturation: -2
Color tone: 0

Highlight tone priority: DISABLED
ADOBE RGB COLOR SPACE

If you need ISO 640 at 1.8, your noise problem is a lack of light. How does the camera perform outside mid-day? If it performs well when given adequate light, then I'd say your sensor is probably fine, but your light levels are not. If you still see a lot of noise even in good lighting conditions (where you'd need F8 or more at ISO 100), then you may have a bad sensor.
