Too bright outside. How do you see the LCD..?

When I shoot outdoors with my DVX I use the EVF's eye cup which shuts out the light entirely (even with my glasses on!)

But in starting to use a T2i I am having a hard time seeing the LCD on a bright day and knowing if I'm in focus or who's even in the shot!

So, what are some solutions for this? Obviously, not having to spend a ton of dough would be nice as well.

Thanks gents.

What about the Carry Speed Vfinder? Seems a bit more reasonable at 60 bucks. Did a search but couldn't find anything useful.

Any thoughts?

to go ultra cheap, burry the screen and your head under a black cloth like old time photographers. I shot half of my last feature that way

The carry speed is a nicer version of the LCDVF-Knockoff. I would go with the carry speed over the knockoff because it mounts better than knockoff lcdvf.
