This some what revered Lens is based on the angenieux optical formula and performs well for a lens of this vintage it’s fast ( 2.8 ) sharp and pretty much parfocal. This copy has a Nikon Mount. The virtues of this lens is it’s built like a tank , has hard stops and has a aperture ring .Alternatively could be used on a Nikon stills camera where you have the option of auto focus . The lens is in excellent working condition, optics are clean and it comes with front and rear caps. It also has a follow focus gear installed on it.

Good one mcgee. Should sell, great value for what you are asking. I've had two of these for a while. The Mk I, like the one you are selling and the Mk II. They have a beautiful look and work very well with a Speed Booster Ultra on the FS7. Basically they become an f2.0 with a Speed Booster. Both mine are 100% parfocal. I also like the fact that they have minimal focus breathing. Had some very complimentary comments on the images out these lenses. Just watch out for flare in low sun and certain lighting conditions. But hey that's part of their appeal. Check out this comparison where the Tokina is up against the Angenieux that inspired it.

A bit of history on these lenses for the younger crew looking for a good 'cine' heritage lens with a performance factor that goes well beyond the price you pay for them.

Interested. The one photo shows what looks like a slight warping on the filter ring between the 77mm filter size and aperture. Does it still take filters? Thanks!
