Tokina 11-16mm vs Nikon 16mm F/2.8D AF Fisheye

I have the Tokina and like it a lot, but I rarely use it below 16mm...anything less is just two wide. So rather than have a zoom lens, would I have a comparable 16mm lens in the Nikon? Has anyone used it on a Canon DSLR?

I don't know that nikon, but if it is a fisheye, it may unpleasantly surprise you, even on APS-C, when you compare it with your rectilinear tokina; make sure this will not bother you before you make the switch

I have recently bought my first fisheye lens (samyang 8mm), but I still haven't tested it
my expectations, with which I bought it,l are: it will be a very nice lens, but its usefulness will be very limited in video: move the camera, and distortion kills you (I hate it when the horizon wobbles)

also: not knowing a thing about it, I'd be very surprised if that nikon was actually sharper than the tokina, that lens is sweeeeet!!
