*Often* unavailable from B&H? More like never available. That's a good price on a tough-to-find lens.

Jordan I have the Tokina 12-24 and i like the range more then the 11-16, but the F4 sucks!
Not trying to waste your time, just wanted to mention that.

Thanks, Matt. Frankly, I'm a little torn about selling it. The 2.8 comes in very handy indoors, although I've also seen some videos in which people are using it for shallow focus. Me, I think the lens is great for shooting kids.

People have been PMing me offers. I don't know why given the fact that the original post has always stated that the prices are firm.

I don't need to sell this lens and I'm obviously in no rush to do so. However, if someone would like to purchase it under the terms listed above, I will be happy to properly package it and send it his way. The purchase receipt, 3-year warranty card, and brochure will accompany the lens, both caps, and the lens shade with which it came.

If I had the money I would buy it right now.....

As with almost every single lens, stopping down a bit increases sharpness. I think at f/4.0 with this lens, you're going to be sure the corners are always sharp. Personally, I never stopped down with this lens in order to increase sharpness. To cut light, yeah. In any case, I usually used this lens outside with a CPL, which takes about 1.5 stops of light so I kept the aperture at f/2.8 and was satisfied with its sharpness.
