Leaning toward picking up the Tokina 11-16, but I'm curious about vignetting with this lens on the C100, since the lens is designed for crop sensors. Can I use this lens throughout its entire focal range without vignetting? Do you have to use the EF-S setting with this lens? Thanks!

I have the Tokina 11-16 and use it regularly with my C100. From 11-13mm the lens hood will show up in the edge of the frame. Solution is obviously to take the lens hood off at those focal lengths. The lens itself does not vignette. On the 60D at 1.6 crop the lens hood did not show up, but at a 1.53 crop on the C100 it does.

Also, you may want to consider the new Tokina 11-20 f/2.8. Larger focal range with the same aperture. I haven't read much about it, but the reviews on B&H are good. I'm tempted to sell my 11-16 to get the 11-20.

Also consider the Canon 10-18mm if you don't need f/2.8 speed but prefer IS, silent smooth STM AF, peripheral shade correction, tad wider and tad longer and third the price (299$). While Tokina's benefits are decently stronger build quality and speed (low light ultra wide angle shooting)

I just bought the Canon 10-18 and ended up returning it in favor of the Tokina. I couldn't get past the slower speed. Indoors, I felt like I had to crank the ISO up way too much to compensate. Amazon has the Tokina available for $430 right now, so the price difference isn't that major. If you think the variable aperture might be an issue, I'd stick with the Tokina.
