Tokina 11 - 16 on Canon 7d

Hi Guys,
I am trying to buy a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens from B&H. I have a Canon 7d and I was wondering if this lens will fit my camera.

The site says - "Only fits on the EOS Digital Rebel series or 50D, 40D, 30D & 20D SLR cameras" - Which does not seem to be correct or up to date.

I just bought the Tokina 11-16 2.8 for my 7D from B&H last month... works perfectly. The link you have tells you it's for APS-C sensors... which the 7D is.

What a great piece of glass, you won't regret buying it.

btw... you might want to jump right on that and order as soon as they open again tonight. That lens does not stay in stock for more than a day at B&H.

shamejithrp... did you happen to get that lens from B&H. I noticed that is was out of stock the very next day on their website, which didn't surprise me. Hopefully you were one of the lucky ones.

It's a good lens as I have had it for a while. But when shooting video with deep focus, it does alias really badly in 720. Not as bad in 1080. Out of all my lenses, this one does alias the most. Something to keep in mind when you shoot. If shoot shoot at lower f-stops (shallower focus), it deals with the aliasing a bit better.
