Tokina 11-16 Manual Focus Question

The Tokina 11-16 f2.8 seems like a terrific way to provide wide angle coverage for the AF 100 to those of us who will be using slr lenses, but one thing concerns me:

- to engage the manual focus one pulls the focus ring toward the camera according to the published specs-

How exactly does this work?

Do you have to maintain inward pressure to keep the lens in manual focus mode?
Does it "click" into and out of manual focus mode?
Will the manual focus control be able to be used with a follow focus gear without accidentally slipping out?

Does anyone have personal experience with this lens to be able to answer this?

Thanks as always.

It works just like a switch you dont have to hold anything down to be in manual or autofocus.
Pull the "switch towards you and it's on manual focus and pulling back it the opposite direction turns autofocus on .

I own the lens and the ring clicks into position for both, the ring is pulled slighty farther out for manual focus. It should work with a followfocus fine, though there is a chance if its knocked or something it could push it into autofocus.

I use this lens on a GH1 and can confirm that manual focussing works like a breeze. Fantastic lens.
