Tokina 11-16 2.8 Nikon and Novoflex adapter

I should add that I don't have any full auto iris Nikon lenses, but decided to get the Novoflex in case I do purchase them.
 
Cant understand why anyone would use anything but a full manual lens on any appropriate adapter.

Amen to this, I still don't really understand all this false iris stuff. Do I have to have an Nikon DSLR to set the lens first, take it off, then mount the Novaflex?

No, the apature ring is on the novoflex, and besides that it works like any other manual lens.
