Vision Research, creator of the Phantom high-speed cameras, announces two new models (v1210 and v1610) that can capture up to 16,000 frames per second at full resolution (1280 x 800) and one million fps at reduced resolution.

And for those of you so in love with that super shallow depth of field look, the sensor size is about the same as the Canon 5DM2.

It ain't a cheap camera though, but it blows away absolutely everyone else in the frame rate/resolution mix. Freakin' amazing.
