To drop or not drop frame?

Probably a dumb question. Matching Canon XH-A1s 30P footage with the 7D (http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=GetArticleAct&articleID=3050 "indicated “30 fps” is actually 29.97 frames per second").

Do you record the XH-A1s 30P footage (is that 29.97?) in the Canon XH-A1s in drop frame setting or non-drop? Since the XH-A1s actually gives you a choice, which should it be to match the 7D's 30P in a 30P sequence?

I'm hoping drop frame since I've already been recording with it.

I realized after writing in this thread that although my ultimate question concerns matching 7D and XH-A1s footage, I should have probably put this into a "Canon Cameras" thread since it specifically concerns recording with the XH-A1s. Sorry. I would be happy to drop it in that forum but now of course run the risk of double dipping.

If anyone reading this thread uses both cameras on a shoot, do you set your 30P recording to drop or not drop frame ? Thanks.
