to all Dutch HVX/HPX (candidate) owners

I want to evaluate if there is interest to start a group/club of Dutch HVX/HPX owners or people planning to buy the nice Panasonic equipment in the near future. This can have the following advantages

·Sharing information/experiences (we could organise a meeting every 3 or 6 months where people show their footage, invite people to give presentations of new developments, organise courses, do group shooting sessions etc.)
·Joint purchase of equipment (like for instance P2 cards) so we can get a good discount and as organised group we can probably even get a discount on individual basis if someone has special needs if we as a organisation/club built up a good relationship with euipment sellers.
·If someone has a very big project where he/she needs more equipment with manpower we can help eachother out.

If you are interested send me an e-mail with suggestion to info@artivideo.nl and if there are enough people I can set up a database with additional info for everyone. Maybe there is only interest/need for this database and not the other activities just tell me. Of course the information will be dealt with upmost care of confidentiality.

don't be disappointed, perhaps a couple days is not enough for some folks to check the HVX boards. Personally, I prefer the HVX/HPX over the Sony gear. I have heard from some of the rental houses that Panasonic has a less than desirable support system set up in the Netherlands and this was partially the reason the HVX got a slow start there. I remember at the IBC in Amsterdam the year before last, they didn't even have a booth! also not to stir up any crap, but the HVX/PAL-land/FCP work flow was problematic in the beginnng (as I recall from users) so people just stuck with XDCAM, etc.
anyway, I like Panasonic, good luck....

And I think there are not so many people from netherlands on this board. At least no really active members. Just wait some more time as mentioned by Eric.
 
I am not dissapointed I just thought it mjght be a good idea to join forces (hmmm probably not good English). Well maybe you are all right and I have to be patient (actually not one of my virtues :-)) ). At least thanks for you comment :-)
