Over the years, Monument Valley has been the setting for more Western movies than any other site in the United States. Unique sandstone formations, the Navajo Indian Nation and the Four Corners Monument define this vast, open desert region.

WOW! Very good Dan.

I do wonder if the shot of the man on the horse you had a friend go out there OR it was just luck?
The horses out there, was that a planned shot of they happened to be there?

Thanks for the Wow Bob.

The horseman was staged for a group of tourists arriving after I did. The location is called "John Ford Point". The other horses were roaming the valley floor both afternoons. They took direction very well.

Nice one Dan. I really enjoyed it. That openning scene with the cowboy and horse was great. Choice of music was spot on.

Many thanks Mark. The area was lacking in waterfalls though. I'll be returning to Havasupai this April to try a GH2 on their falls though.
