C100: Tips to match C100 MkI and c100 MkII

I believe this has been discussed previously but I can't find it doing a search. This Thursday I need to match the two, need one for a wide two shot and the other for the tight. Plan on Wide DR. Is the color science the same?

Any tips on matching the two? I shoot a McBeth chart at the head.

Thanks,

Ned

C100mk2 will be colder than the mk1.

6000K mk2 might be closer to 5600K mk1 (in case you're trying to match day-of and think you're going crazy).

I think the only way you'd notice is by direct A/B comparison, pointing at the exact same subject and framing. I mix MK1's and Mk2's all the time, and no one has ever commented. Set to the same profile and white balance, they're very close. If you want to go the extra step, set a custom white balance on each. I use a exposdisc or white sheet of 216 over the lens.

Thanks guys. I saw a few examples on Vimeo and it seems the Mk I is warmer, but I figure if I shoot the color chart the editor will make them play well together.
