Tips for Exercise Videos

We have a some exercise video shoots coming up and I don't have a ton of experience with them.

We are doing a yoga and a cardio video with one instructor. I am thinking multi-cam will be the best option. The budget is very tight. Do you guys think 2 cameras will be good enough or should I push for 3?

Also I m think wireless lavs might get in the way of the instructors movement. Boom it?

Any thoughts would be great! Thanks.

For me, the number of cameras would be dictated by the budget and by the look your client is going for - which is also effected by the budget. Each camera has its own rental fee and adds to the editing time. Same with the mic - if you're going to use a boom, you have to pay a boom operator. I can imagine a wireless transmitter being a real pain in the ass though. Having to remove it for certain positions. But it would certainly be easier to get good audio with a lav as I'm sure the instructor will be moving all over the place.

Thanks for your thoughts! I am going to go watch some more excercise videos and see how the are doing it.
