So here's my question. How do you shoot/edit timelapse with a P2 camcorder and have it play smoothly in a 24fps timeline in FCP. Click below to see what I mean. These services only support 23.98 playback I believe (I could very well be wrong) so the playback isnt as smooth as if it were to playback at the correct, 59.94 frame rate. If you download the vimeo version and playback using quicktime, it will be much smoother. The video shows up in FCP as 59.94fps and plays back fine when the timeline matches this frame rate. When the same video is added to a 23.98fps timeline, playback isn't as smooth. Anybody know the best way to capture a timelapse in the field that will work seamlessly in a 23.98 timeline OR a way to convert the 59.94 video so it plays smoothly in a 23.98.
