TimeFest Downloading/Viewing issues: POST HERE

Did someone go and change somehting with the ZIP files? Larry? I started downloading the first one this morning, left the house, and came back expecting a finished download but found a "Server Timed OUt" error. Now I have to do it again, after I finish uploading my 1000th post video to Vimeo so I can add it to my 1000th post thread.

Also, I don't know where else to ask, how long will the viewing/voting be open? I want to know so I can use good time management (pun not realized until after typing).
 
erm, this is getting old! This is like 5 of the 10 i've tried to watch, and they end in green and audio is skipping....am i doing anything wrong? I've now gone to d-loading them individually, and this is what happens...any advice?

Well I have everything and am watching it. The only issue I had was regarding the time08_0006.zip

Not found on the server?
 
try a few times. there may be issues with one of the mirrors and Larry will check it out later.

There is more than one mirror though, so trying a few times should get it to work for you.

Plus if one server is getting hit a lot, it may go down for a brief moment due to overload but will come back up within a few minutes.

Jason, good call. Worked on my seventh try. Kept wanting to go to Mikko's then it picked it up from somewhere else.

Yeah, I apologize, this is a known issue but with the massive rework I had to do for the new voting scheme I didn't have time to address this. Currently it uses a random number generator to pick the mirror to serve which means sometimes you get the same mirror over and over several times in a row, thus getting the same problem file.

I have an improved system, but still need to implement it. So please be payient and try again. I can guarantee that 95% of the time you should get a good file ... that other 5% can be pretty annoying though :)
 
ahh shooo... Its seems that my film, "Solecism" is not in the zips.. Am I missing something?? Did anyone else find it in their downloads?

trouble downloading Modere. the auto download is a file error and the right click feezes about a third of the way in.

Good deal... than I'm not crazy afterall. I'm sure there will be a few bugs at the starting gate. The system is still be perfected and I'm sure all films will be seen. :)
