TimeCode In/Outs?

I'm just curious as to wether RED will have (If it'll have timecode In/Outs, at all.) TimeCode In/Outs on BNC connectors? I'm hoping to link together 3 or 4 REDS (With T BNC connectors) and then go out to Slates for each camera (DigiSlate) with a BNC line. And then link in from the last camera to the timecode on a DigiDesign Live Venue system and record with ProTools (So I don't need to import audio into anything, it's already there). And then from there run into the IN on the first camera so it has a self checking loop.

The loop seems like a bad idea, feedback would cause both the timecode and sync to chase its own tail, probably ending up unstable and unusable.

I would suggest you need something to be the master for both timecode and sync. This could be one of the cameras, but ideally you would have dedicated sync and timecode generators. What you don't want is for the master camera to have its battery changed, causing all the other devices to wobble at the same time.

I just went with the way you set-up protools systems, where you loop the timecode all the way around the input devices. I was told it ensures that the first camera is sending out the same signal the last device is recieving.
