Time remaping, NOT linniar slow motion...

Hey all, I really need some help on this. For the next episode of this bike webshow that I'm doing, I really, really, really want to do some dynamic time re-mapping. Like, have the footage going in realtime, but then ramp it down to say 40 or 30 percent.

Ok, so I know that 24p cant be slowed verry effictively, os one option would be to shoot in regular 24p for all the realtime clips, then shoot in 60i for the time remapped ones and use twixtor or AE to do it. But, I've already committed to shooting 24pA, so any 60i footage I shoot would need to be slowed again to fit into a 24p timeline. The same would hold true with 30p, but, it would only be a little bit that it would need to be slowed down. And now that I think of it, AvidMC can mix any frame rate. But, I'd like to get your input on this.

Thanks,
Dory
