C100: Time record - clip

I'm at work now, unboxed the camera last night so I haven't had much time to play with it. Quick question, I know there is timecode, is there a timer that you can reset, like the Panasonic HMC series? Alot of my shoot require a clip to be a certain length, and knowing when it gets there , while being able to start and resume is very needed, something that I was missing on the 550D.

The C100 has no clip duration timecode option which is frustrating, however you can activate Freerun and reset that, I think thats what you are referring to.
