Tiger Direct Getting 400 on the 1st!!

I don't think 400 is necessarily accurate. They have been quoting that number since the beginning of September when they likely would not have had their allotment figures from the distributor. I think they will get stock by the 1st (actually, I think they may already have physically received the stock, a CSR told me it takes their warehouse 3 days from receipt of stock to show up as in stock on the sales end) that seems likely especially considering how many shops are having stock show up in the last couple of days.
 
I couldn't find the 7D listed anywhere on their site...

And I've read quite a few dubious reviews about them lying about stock they don't have, taking forever to refund money etc etc...
 
I just got off the phone with a newegg rep and he said there were a total of 500 ordered through their warehouses. He couldn't tell me how many were pre-ordered, but would have a hard time believing any more than 250.
 
I also have purchased items from tigerdirect. Actually a 65 inch dlp shipped fast and in great condition all around great service. With the canon 7D it is possible they recieved over 400 preorders as they were offering the product 20% off! ThAT normally makes people line up.
 
I ordered mine from newegg.com last night! Oct.1 release date... and i bought the amazing computer i am typing on from them haha.
