Tiffen Neutral Density Filters

Will you suffer from the same magenta-coloring issue when using multiple Tiffen neutral density filters as you would with those Cokin or Cokin-like ND filters? Judging by the considerable price differences, I would imagine not, but I'd like to hear actual reviews and experiences.

So there's still a possibility, even with the Tiffen filters.

I'm looking at the following Tiffen types, the rectangular ones. I'm not too familiar with its factors, but obviously I'd like one or, likely, a combination of a couple for the outdoor, sunny situations. Often not many clouds here in Texas, so we're talking harsh, direct sunlight.

Does anybody have any experiences using these costlier filters? If one were to use a combination of these filters to reduce brightness, will they suffer from the said color casts?

Most of these are in the $130-range but I did notice the .6 filter was only $32 (the first one I listed). Can anybody tell me why is that? It appears to be no different than the ones around it (besides its factor obviously).
