Tied a 7D to my bike's handlebars...

What lens did you use and did it have image stabilization?

There's quite a bit of "jello" on the outside footage. You might want to try a bike that has shocks in the front.

the outdoor stuff didn't look that bad...especially when he was sitting up str8

Yeah, we had to crank the ISO up to the maximum since we didn't have any lights at the time, and the arm could only go so far, so we were left with a bit of a low angle.

How about shooting ahead? And aren't you worried the arm might give and... :Drogar-KnockedOut(D

Yeah, we might try some more shots in different directions. It was pretty cold outside so we didn't hang too long. I wasn't too worried about the camera slipping (I trust my DP ) but we hypothesized afterward about supports utilizing multiple arms instead of just one for a more secure attachment.

We figured we'd see a little, and since the bike is a road bike (and has no shocks) the vibration from the road didn't help. I thought it gave the trees a particularly creepy stutter, which could be great with the right kind of script, but Personal Best is more of a comedy so we'll probably work something else out.
