Three incredible female singers, one fantastic cover . . and they're 15??

Using this opportunity to escape 'christmas'... For me the lighitng was a bit too harsh for the girls. I would have tried to get them facing the windows, and then have a flat lighting.

The way things were, shooting directly in to the window, there was high contrast on some shots, especially with the guitarist on the left, girls on the right, and then for the shots that didn't have the window, the contrast changed.

A big bounce could have perhaps helped. One can get muslin drop cloths at Home Depot, and put them up on a goal pole type setup. The 'warm' muslin would have been ok for a 'color' for the girls as well.

Yeah, I feel you. I was playing with it in post, and the complete lack of bounce and fill meant a hell of a time coloring. Thanks, for watching J.

Same comments as before about the harsh lighting. Looks very good in parts. Though, I'm guessing it was probably set up for singing first and filming second. The singing is really top notch. Sounds great!

On the singing... I'd have the girls stand next time... To me they had a slight 'wispy' sound, and by standing they can fill their lungs a bit more and get a stronger sound.

The wispy sound is easily a direct choice from the girls who all know exactly what they're doing. It's more of a style than a correlation of sitting vs. standing on their part.

We're working on some more songs and even writing some originals. Get psyched! They're incredible.

What's that falling outside .. wait a minute looks like confetti.

Well it's record company business cards.

Stay like you are ladies, don't let them multitrack you into the ground, best wishes from all in Oz.

Cheers.

Have you read up on how Justin Beiber got started? yep put more songs on the web. Based on that song I'd tighten up the diction just a tad,
but never at the expense of their sound.

Easily the best version on the web and it stays in your head for a while, nice guitar too.
Put new links here thanks.

Cheers.

Exactly, what I'm sayin' Raster. They don't even know how good they are.
Thought the video was pretty good. If your sisters are serious about singing though it'd probably be a good idea to get them started in vocal lessons. I didn't hear anything much remarkable in their singing. Doesn't mean they can't be trained to be remarkable, though! And hey -- keep posting videos. You never know. The way the industry works...

The girls harmonize really well. One thing that bothered me was where you had them sit. It looks like the window behind them could have been used as the key light. Maybe next time spin the couch around so that the big window is 45 degrees to their faces. You'll get a nice soft key light and still have depth. You'll also be able to shoot at a lower ISO, and get the skin tones into the cleaner range of the sensor.

Thanks for watching guys.

In hindsight, it's very true about facing the wrong way. I like some shots, but keeping that window not blown out during coloring was a real problem and it would've been a lot easier if I hadn't rushed it (only had about 20 mins to set everything up and shoot, haha), but overall I'm pleased with it. It's good they sound great cause otherwise the light problem would be a lot more unforgivable.
