General Thread prefixes....

Going to give this a try. Seems like a good way to help organize things without having 8 million different sub-forums for every camera that comes out that may or may not end up being successful.

This seemed like the appropriate section to try this out.

So, now... when you create a thread in this section, you must give it a prefix.

I'm open to suggestions and will expand this appropriately if it seems to serve its purpose.

Note: If you do an advanced search of this forum, you can search results that only have a particular prefix...

changed it so prefixes are not required but are currently voluntary as we test this out. open to any reasonable suggestions on this or other organization of the fast growing dslr sections.

Oh god, that color coding is horrible. Please make it stop. A simple all caps bold prefix in white would be just fine. I just looked in the marketplace and had a seizure.
 
You can keep the colors, just mute them down. Pure colors are not great for text and they really hurt the eyes on high gamut displays.
