C100: Thread mount on top of C100 handle, how to utilize?

So, probably a dumb question. But all my accessory mounts (like the giottos mini ball heads) have either required a protruding stud to thread on to, or have used a hotshoe mount. Now of course the handle has a hotshoe up front, but i'd like to utilize the threaded female mount on the rear of the handle. How would I go about doing this?

I was messing around with that this morning. I tried using some of my Zacuto gear on it: a Zacuto Zicromount screwed into it and then that gave me a 15mm rod mount to mount my Ninja 2 on. I tried a simple rod and Zwivel, and a Z-American arm and they both worked fine and were solid, though it's a fair amount of weight to trust to one screw! I normally attach them to a base plate but thought I'd try out that top mount to see if it's a viable option.

Hm, yes it appears to be some kind of shoe block. Wonder how he is attaching that? Problem I've experienced with a lot of these custom adapters and such is that they often love to start un-threading at the most inconvenient time.
