Unlike the photos, I don't tend to shoot most of my work tilted down. Looks like it would be a bear to level. Doesn't seem to be much there in expandability either. Not sure what your current or future needs might be, but you could probably do better.
Its the same as the Adorama support. Pretty good for the money, but don't pay more than 30 if you can help it. It was on another place within Amazon, but I cannot find it. Solid piece though!
Its looks similar to the adorama one, I have the adorama and I love it!!! its quite cheap too and you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on any other mount, since this one achieve the task perfectly
I'm using the shoulder part on my current rig, but DO NOT use the base plate with your DSLR, it is too heavy... mine broke with a (unkitted) HV30, and it broke in the actual cast of the plastic, but you'll probably figure this out when you see how bad quality the base plate is.
Shoulder part is firmly attached to a Manfrotto lens support put backwards, it's excellent balance and I can put up the entire rig on my shoulder without even removing the tripod (wich may serve as a hand grip for a type of steadycam shooting). Entire rig is like 500 usd, including tripod.
went to adorama and typed in "dslr shoulder" and did not really see anything close to what i am looking at in that ebay auction... could someone supply a link to the "adorama" one that you guys are talking about
