Hi all. I'm looking for feedback and thoughts from S1H owners on how they feel that camera stacks up against the newly announced Canon C70. Yes, I know the C70 is not shipping at the moment, so you'd just be comparing to a spec sheet.
I'm interested in how you use your S1H, if there's anything you feel it's lacking that the C70 does better. We all know what some of those things probably are (autofocus, 120fps, etc.)
I've been looking seriously at purchasing an S1H but the C70 has given me pause. I've shot in the past with the GH4 and the GH5 and loved those cameras. I've also shot extensively with the Canon C200, C300 Mk II and III and also the C500 Mk II and loved those cameras for different reasons.
I have all canon glass at the moment, so I'd be adapting on the S1H and not looking to buy any L mount glass. Our agency currently owns a C300 Mark III as our A cam and I know the C70 would match up the most easily, but that's not as much of a concern to me since I've cut anything from a Fuji XT3 to a Canon EOS R with our A cam and clients can't tell the slight differences.
I also shoot photos, so although we're not replacing our EOS R anytime soon, it would be nice to have a hybrid that does both, although not a dealbreaker.
