wow. That's definately a great way to make a film! This looks great! Some of those shots were just breathtaking. and I mean, come on! tailwhips on a mountain bike? how awesome is that!?

Now I want to make a zip line for something, haha.

Yeah, they're just zip-lines... but did you see how freaking fast the guy was "zipping?" That would be a pretty difficult thing to do. Especially while going BACKWARDS and trying to keep the camera pointed at the subject. That would definately take some practice.
 
Nothing new But the boys from the collective are good at film 16mm Freeride ent. has been doing the zip lines for years.

Come on dude! Look at the smoothness of those shots, great focus, well composed, smooth handheld work all while being pulled alng backward at high speed.

That's some great camera work.

i'd love to see some skate footage done with a zip.

That’s some great shots...

Zip lines are not just strung up; there are several thousands of pounds of force at each anchor point.

Please do not try making a zip line and go down it with out knowing what you are doing you or someone else could get seriously hurt, this is coming from an experienced mountaineer that has setup many zip lines.

But it's still worth posting again for more to know about.

Their first film is full of some amazing footage. Rather unique in the bike porn movie field. I would vote it the best cinematography in the class.
